Governance

Our strategy is to reimagine the University of the future through six key strategic themes: creating opportunity, valuing ideas, enriching society, embracing sustainability, connecting globally and empowering people.

Three key bodies are responsible for the governance of Nottingham Trent University. They are the University Executive Team, the Board of Governors and the Academic Board. Together they manage the University and lead key strategic activities and projects.

Sir John Peace, Chancellor

As Chancellor, Sir John Peace undertakes a number of important ceremonial duties, including conferring degrees at graduation and representing the University at major events.

Professor Edward Peck, Vice-Chancellor and President

As well as undertaking the role of Vice-Chancellor and President, Professor Edward Peck is also the Chief Executive of the University and leads the University Executive Team.
