About TILT

The Trent Institute for Learning and Teaching (TILT) promotes excellence in learning and teaching, and will support our strategic plan Creating the University of the Future. TILT has formed an institution-wide community of practice that recognises inspirational teaching at NTU, shares innovative practice, and investigates emerging themes in learning and teaching.

Practice and scholarship groups

Self-directing and self-managing, these groups are founded around common interests in learning and teaching with membership from across NTU.

Vice-Chancellor's Teaching Award

Developed in consultation with the NTU community, this award celebrates inspirational teaching at the University.

Sabbatical scheme

This competitive scheme provides colleagues with the opportunity to pursue developments which will impact positively on learning and teaching at NTU.
