The Trent Institute for Learning and Teaching (TILT) promotes excellence in learning and teaching, and will support our strategic plan Creating the University of the Future. TILT has formed an institution-wide community of practice that recognises inspirational teaching at NTU, shares innovative practice, and investigates emerging themes in learning and teaching.
Self-directing and self-managing, these groups are founded around common interests in learning and teaching with membership from across NTU.
Developed in consultation with the NTU community, this award celebrates inspirational teaching at the University.
This competitive scheme provides colleagues with the opportunity to pursue developments which will impact positively on learning and teaching at NTU.
There will be a number of events to support the TILT community, the highlight of which will be the TILT Annual Learning and Teaching Conference.
PG Certificate in Academic Practice (PGCAP)
A new inquiry-based, multidisciplinary course which will offer structured and individualised continuing professional development.
These groups advise and produce recommendations on topics of interest within the academy.
