AppJam event branded a major success

AppJam took place on the 26 and 27 November 2016. It was an excellent event with many NTU students involved in producing some fantastic apps in just 24 hours. Even though they were sleep deprived they managed to remain highly motivated and enthusiastic. After creating or designing an app, students then presented their creations to a panel of judges including a former winner of the event, and representatives from Nationwide, Software2, D2L and NTU Information Systems.

Congratulations to the winners of the event:

Best Overall App
N Block - Sam Crosby, Nathan Borthwick, Usama Blavins and Oskar August
Winners of a Phantom 3 Drone

Best Designed App
T Block - Lydia Lane, Jake Westcott and Will Jones
Winners of an iPad Air 2 each

Most Innovative App
Too Good for HackNotts - Matthew Harris, Mohamed Dewidar and Victor Baumbach
Winners of £500

Special Recognition Award
