NTU Music are inviting all students, regardless of their musical experience, to join the NTU Choir and perform Verdi’s Requiem , accompanied by one of the world's greatest orchestras.

Taking place on Saturday 28 April 2018 in Nottingham’s Royal Concert Hall, you’ll sing alongside the London Philharmonic Orchestra (LPO) and four renowned soloists – Elizabeth Llewellyn, Dame Sarah Connolly, Gwyn Hughes Jones and Wojtek Gierlach.

Everyone is welcome to join the choir and no previous experience of singing or reading music is needed. Rehearsals are friendly and informal, and more experienced members are happy to help and support those new to singing.

You can join the NTU Choir after Christmas for just £10, which will provide you with membership until the end of the academic year. You’ll also have the opportunity to perform as part of our Russian Spectacular in February, the NTU Big Sing in May, and our Summer Concert in June.

Rehearsals take place on Tuesday evenings, 6.15 pm – 8.30 pm in the NTU Music Centre, City Campus. The first rehearsal back after the Christmas break is Tuesday 9 January 2018.

Find out more about this fantastic opportunity – contact the Music Team today at music@ntu.ac.uk or pop in to the Music Centre, Goldsmith Street, City Campus (between the Global Lounge and the Premier Inn Costa).
