Our academic and technical teams are experts in their fields.
The combination of their teaching and research skills along with their own professional practice and knowledge of the creative industries gives you the formula for a rewarding learning experience.
We can arrange tailored programmes that run for a single day or longer, either with us in the centre of Nottingham or in-house at your premises
Our expertise includes fashion and textile design and management, cultural leadership, 2D and 3D software, product design thinking, presentation skills, idea generation, team building exercises and much more.
A bespoke course can offer you:
- flexible timetables that work around your needs
- team building sessions
- technical training using our industry-standard facilities
- design and idea generation workshops.
Examples of previous bespoke training include:
- Li and Fung Europe (London and Manchester) – Design and Business skills
The design optimisation course was set up to give employees greater business and commercial awareness to compliment their high-level creative skills.
NTU delivered training to cohorts in London and Manchester, and advised on a similar course that ran in New York and Germany.
- Lucerne University (Switzerland) – Design thinking
The MBA faculty and students were looking for something creative that involved design thinking, problem solving and product making.
Distinct from their usual day-to-day work, the delegates spent a week immersed in smart textiles and created business proposals for the next generation of wearable technology.
- St Benedict's School (Derbyshire) – Software training
Design and technology teachers were introduced to the key features of SolidWorks, giving them the principles of modelling and 3D design.
The practical and interactive course allowed delegates to bring examples of their own projects so that they could develop work to take back to the classroom.
