Employability Hubs on campus
You can visit the NTU Employability team on campus at their Hubs. They are located on Brackenhurst, City and Clifton Campus. You’ll be able to get advice from their friendly Employability Student Mentors, who will be able to refer you on for more in-depth advice.

Goal Setting Workshops
Reflect. Reset. Reach.
Goal Setting Workshops provide the opportunity for first-year undergraduate students to take part in a participatory session to reflect on Term One, reset priorities for Term Two and establish connections with students who are studying the same or a similar course.

NTU Employability Services is the University’s central careers service, contributing to our current University strategy, University, reimagined.
NTU Employability Services offer an impartial careers service. We operate in accordance with Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services (AGCAS) Code of Ethics.

Employability and sustainability
Employability Services are part of NTU’s sustainable community, as a team we are actively working towards embedding sustainability across our service offer and ways of working.
Employability Services ways of working
As a Service, we aim:
- To create opportunities for students to expand their knowledge of sustainability; to have a positive impact on their future careers
- To work collaboratively with employers, ensuring they are aware of sustainability best practice and understand the demand for this from early careers
- To work internally to increase the knowledge of the Employability team regarding sustainability issues and how they can support our students
- To promote the links between employability and sustainability and increase the academic basis for this.
Student Sustainability Award
Our Sustainability Award was highlighted as a sector-leading initiative by Green Gown Awards, NTU Sustainability Award enhances graduate employability by embracing sustainability. Developed in partnership with NTU’s Green Academy and inspired by NTU’s strategic ambition ‘Embracing Sustainability’ the aim is to have a positive impact on students’ future careers by developing their sustainability literacy.
Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR)
The Higher Education Achievement Report records your academic and extra-curricular achievements during your time at NTU.
Upon graduation, all full-time undergraduate students are issued with a HEAR.
Your HEAR will give you:
- Easy access to your academic achievement summary.
- A transcript of results from your studies.
- A full summary of your eligible extracurricular activity.
- An official record of your accomplishments verified by the University.
