Training and development

NTU Libraries offers a variety of training and development opportunities to staff. These can range from meeting with new members of academic staff to provide a one-to-one induction, or delivering a training session to update you on thing such as changes to copyright legislation or new resources, and how they might affect your teaching. We also participate in School staff development and training weeks.

New staff induction

All new members of academic staff receive a one-to-one induction with their Librarian. Not only does this help you get to know us on an individual basis, you have the opportunity to learn more about the library, how we work, and how we can support you in your role.

Contact us if we've not already arranged this with you.

Events and workshops

Throughout term-time we run a number of events for staff. Any member of staff is welcome to sign up and come along. Sessions occur at all three campuses, and include the following:

  • NTU Learning Repository
