Paying the University online

The safest and quickest way to make a payment to the University is online.

Advanced payment

All international (non-EEA) students need to make an advanced payment (deposit) of £3,000.

Please do this when you accept your offer to study with us.

We'll deduct the advanced payment from your total course fees:

  • when you've paid the rest of your tuition fees or,
  • when you've arranged an instalment plan to pay the rest of your tuition fees.

Paying in instalments

If you're going to pay the rest of your fees in instalments, you can either:

  • pay by credit card online or,
  • set up a direct debit online on a UK bank account. Read the advice from the British Bank Association on how to open a UK bank account when you arrive in the UK if you would like to do this.

2016/2017 instalment dates are Monday 24 October 2016 (50%) and Monday 6 February 2017 (50%).

Making additional payments towards accommodation for Tier 4 visa

If you're applying for a Tier 4 visa you can make additional payments towards accommodation that we will declare on your CAS statement.

If you want to pay this online please note that you must accept your offer, pay your advanced payment and meet all your conditions first.

You may also choose to pay by calling our Finance Team on +44 (0)115 848 6500 or by bank transfer. It can take up to ten working days for the money sent by bank transfer to be processed, so please be aware of this potential delay.

Please note that the maximum amount the UKVI will take into consideration for accommodation payments is £1,020.00. Payments for accommodation booking fees (which become the damage deposits after key collection) are not included in the 'accommodation fees paid' as they are not considered to be part of the fee.

Pre-sessional English (PEAP) fees

If you're doing a 15-week, 20-week or 30-week pre-sessional English (PEAP) course, you must pay the £3,000 advanced payment (see above). If you're doing a 6-week or 10-week PEAP course, you must pay your PEAP course fees in full. You can do this here:
