Performance Analysis Laboratory
Sports students have access to the The Human Movement Laboratory for teaching, course projects and research into the 3D analysis of human movement, along with neuromuscular, bone and metabolic assessment associated to human performance.
Using digital infra-red cameras to analyse body movements during exercise, students assess the resulting data to deliver improved technique and performance.
Force plates, embedded in our indoor track are able to measure ground reaction forces, providing an extra dimension of data.
