Acting on student feedback from the NTSU that Lecture Capture had become a priority for our students, this facility is now available in all teaching rooms with a capacity of at least 50 students. A significant investment was made in 2016 to provide this audio-visual facility on all our campuses.
What is Lecture Capture?
Lecture capture generates audio recordings that are synchronised with other presented materials such as PowerPoint slides. Recorded lectures are made available to students via the module learning room in NOW, creating a useful digital resource and a valuable revision tool. Lecture Capture at NTU is provided by Panopto and made available via My Media Files from the More drop-down in each module's NOW Learning Room. Full details can be found in Technology central.

"I am glad to know that our University is moving forward and taking advantage of the technology available to us to support our students. I can see this investment helping us reduce the attainment gap and it has already been hugely welcomed by our students who want this available in more rooms." [NTSU, 2017]
