NTU Pink Plaque Project 2017-18

We are delighted to announce that nominations for the NTU Pink Plaque Project 2017-18 are now open!

Similar to the English Heritage ‘Blue Plaque’ scheme, the NTU Pink Plaque project will highlight the history and achievements of our University. We will produce a trail through and around our campuses celebrating the innovative work of our staff, students and alumni.

To be eligible for an NTU Pink Plaque, the person concerned must either:

  • Have worked or studied at Nottingham Trent University or in a building now associated with NTU, and deserve national recognition for an innovation in any field; or
  • Be outstanding in their field and have made a significant contribution to or within a building now associated with NTU.

If you would like to propose someone to be honoured with a ‘pink plaque’ please email Anne Adams at culture@ntu.ac.uk with the name of the person, detailing whether they are/were a member of staff, student or alumnus/a; the reasons for your nomination and their area of innovation or outstanding contribution and also which NTU Building they are (or were) associated with.

The deadline for the submission of nominations is Friday 08 December 2017. A shortlist will be drawn from the nominations received and all members of the University community will then be invited to vote for the people that they would like to see commemorated as part of this trail.

If you have any queries about this project, please email Anne Adams or telephone on 0115 848 2443.
