Registration for graduation is now open!
Registration for graduation is now open!

Registration for July 2018 graduation ceremonies is now live! All final year students must register before 4pm on Friday 20 April or you will not be able to graduate in person. Register now.

If you do not wish to attend the ceremony, you must still register online to confirm the address for your certificate to be sent to you.

This year, we will be holding the majority of our ceremonies in the refurbished University Hall, and ceremonies will take place over two weeks between Monday 16 – Friday 27 July 2018. You can see the full schedule here.

The hall, located on Shakespeare Street, was previously used as a synagogue before NTU purchased this in early 2017. It’s original features and more intimate setting is the ideal location for such a prestigious, milestone event for our students and their successes.

The first two days of ceremonies will still take place in the Royal Concert Hall for 2018.

Guest tickets

All students are entitled to two free guest tickets, which you must add on when you register. Due to venue capacity restrictions, we can only offer two free guest tickets to the ceremonial halls. However, you do have the opportunity to add on the Newton Package when registering, which enable two additional guest entrance to the live streaming venue, post-ceremonial refreshments and a graduation programme. These are priced at £10 per person.

Clear your debts

All outstanding debt to the University, including library debts, must be cleared by Thursday 21 June or you will not be able to attend your ceremony.

Graduation information day

There will be three Graduation information drop-in sessions held between 21 – 23 March. These will give final year students the opportunity to meet graduation suppliers (the gowning company, graduation gifting company and photographers). It will also give you the chance to try on gowns and get your caps sized before ordering them. The events will run from 11 am to 2 pm.

Thursday 22 March, 11 am – 2 pm, Newton Level 0, City Campus

Friday 23 March, 11am – 2 pm, 1st Floor. Pavilion building, Clifton Campus
