Current developments

New student accommodation
Works started this summer to build a new student accommodation complex comprising of 191 beds across two sites, allowing more students to live on campus. The development is due for completion in summer 2019.

New Heart of the Campus
Works are underway to create an impressive Reception and Environment Centre. Situated at the front of the campus, this flagship building will provide excellent teaching, learning and research dedicated to geography, environment, ecology and conservation.

It will feature a campus reception, a café and dining area, large open plan spaces, a 200-seat lecture theatre, state-of-the-art teaching and research rooms as well as many beautiful outdoor areas to relax and socialise in.

Construction started in March 2018 and is due for completion in summer 2019.


Completed developments

We have recently developed some of our existing facilities:

Farm House
We upgraded Brackenhurst Farm House to provide new social spaces, including kitchen facilities and Wi-Fi for Animal, Equine and Veterinary Nursing students.

Lab space
A new larger teaching laboratory has been created in the Bramley building.

The Orangery (NTSU)
This has been recently refurbished with fresh new décor and seating.
