Schools and Colleges

The Annual Christmas Science Lecture

Each year lecturers within the School of Science and Technology deliver an exciting and interactive Christmas lecture for Year 12 and 13 science students. The lectures are held in one of the lecture theatres on campus, providing students with a taste of undergraduate study in a university environment. The lectures are inspired by The Royal Institute Christmas Lectures and follow a similar format, with lots of interactive practical experiments and innovative teaching.

University-wide outreach

Our Schools and Colleges Outreach team delivers a broad range of inspirational educational experiences for local Schools and Colleges who want to provide their students with more information about studying Science and Technology at Nottingham Trent University.

The team also holds a number events each year for students and their families. These provide lots of useful information and advice about going to university, including fees and funding opportunities.
