Intramural Rugby

Intramural Rugby is a social and less competitive way to get involved in Rugby whilst studying here at NTU. With many different forms of the game being played, from touch and tag, through to 7's, 10's and the full 15-a-side games – there is something to cater for everyone's ability.

Whether you are male or female, experienced or inexperience, there are IM Rugby opportunities for everyone to take part in. The sessions and projects will aim to help you develop your skills and talent, whatever level you may be at within the sport.

There are a number of exciting opportunities that are currently on offer:

  • Mixed Touch Rugby
  • 7's, 10's and 15's Playing Opportunities
  • Coaching
  • Officiating
  • Volunteering.

When: Monday and Friday evening, Moderns Rugby Club

How can getting involved help your development?

There is a great coaching and officiating package currently offered by NTU where you can gain RFU recognised qualifications such as:

  • Rugby Ready
  • Entry Level Referee's Award
  • Scrum Factory
  • Level two coaching qualifications
