Green Rewards is currently only available for NTU staff. Please see below for some of the ways that students can get involved with the work of the Sustainable Development Team at NTU.
Nottingham Trent University is noted as one of the most sustainable universities in the world and student engagement in sustainability is vital for a university-wide sustainable lifestyle!
How can I get involved?
- Ask your lecturers and staff within your school / department to sign up and form a team. You can support the work that is being carried out.
- Check out the events: Take a look at our events pages and follow us on social media for all the updates about what we are doing and how you can get involved throughout the year.
- Become an eco-ambassador: Organise, promote and encourage sustainability projects to fellow students, working alongside the Sustainable Development Team across all NTU campuses.
What’s in it for me?
Volunteering as an Eco-Ambassador will provide you with CV-enhancing skills such as leadership, teamwork, and organisation skills, while allowing you to improve your knowledge of environmental issues and sustainability.
The aim for Eco-Ambassadors is to increase student participation in environmental events and to educate fellow students in sustainable principles. You do not have to be studying subjects related to sustainability and the environment to get involved, we just ask you have an interest in sustainability. Email the Sustainable Development Team to sign up or with any queries you have in becoming an NTU Eco-Ambassador.
