Tim is the University’s Head of Student Accommodation Services overseeing the marketing, sales, allocation and management of student residential accommodation together with the Warden Service and Residence Assistants. Tim also manages the Reception Services, Print Shop and the University’s Switchboard. He has been in his current role for 9 years and has worked at NTU in excess of 23 years in various accommodation related roles.

Tim leads on the implementation of the University’s Student Code of Behaviour and oversees the community liaison and neighbourhood integration for NTU’s 28,000 students, many of whom live in close proximity to the three campuses. He works closely with Nottinghamshire Police, Nottinghamshire City Council and various neighbourhood and support groups.

In 2016, the University launched its own student letting agent ‘Trent Lets’; this aims to offer students good quality accredited off-street housing from reputable landlords and to raise the standards of student accommodation across the city.

Tim also volunteers on the Board of Trustees for the Forge Trust, a primary based multi-academy trust. The Trust comprises four schools and specialises in working in communities which face disadvantage and challenge.
