Journals of Higher Education: A selected list
There are many journals where colleagues might wish to publish their own work including pedagogic research and the scholarship of learning and teaching. This page introduces the top-ranked peer reviewed journals of learning and teaching in higher education.
The list below was created via SCOPUS, using the search term 'higher education'. Colleagues can create their own customised journal lists by using discipline-specific or topic-related search terms. For example, entering 'Art Design' without 'higher education' would source publications such as the International Journal of Art and Design Education which invites submissions relating to all levels of education.
Clicking 'SJR' will rank the results according to SCImago Journal Rank – a measure of the scientific influence of scholarly journals that considers both the number of citations received and the importance or prestige of the journals where the citations occur.
