Cassicorp 2.3m radio telescope
This radio telescope (SRT) is designed by Haystacks Observatory (MIT) and distributed by Cassi Corp. It has a 2.3 m diameter dish that is freely movable in altitude and azimuth to an accuracy of 1 degree.
It uses two detectors: analogue and digital. The practical frequency range available is from 1400 MHz to 1440 MHz and optimised for 1420.4 MHz or 21 cm, the HI line.
