Campus transformation

Transformation of our estate

Over the past 10 years we’ve invested £350 million across all our campuses. We’ve given our libraries a brand new look, revamped historic buildings and built state-of-the-art new facilities. We’re also proud to be one of the most sustainable universities in the world.

City Campus
Our City Campus is in the heart of Nottingham’s City Centre. We have two iconic Grade II listed buildings, Newton and Arkwright that are now beautifully restored. The campus is also home to our award winning Students’ Union, with superb sports and fitness facilities, a 30ft climbing wall, a modern gym and dance studio, plus a 2,400-capacity live music venue. Our City Global Lounge, which is free for anyone to drop into, provides a range of multicultural activities and international opportunities.

Clifton Campus
Following a multi-million pound investment programme, Clifton Campus has been developed into a cutting-edge campus, providing an inspiring teaching, learning, and research environment as well as an excellent student experience. The new Pavilion sits at the Heart of the Campus, while state-of-the-art sporting facilities, new accommodation facilities and a number of high-spec laboratories, provide a perfect blend of peaceful spaces and big ideas. We’ve also invested over £5m to improve Clifton Library.

Brackenhurst Campus
Surrounded by water, woodlands, and elegant gardens, Brackenhurst Campus is a university experience with a difference. For our passionate community of staff and students, it’s the perfect learning space for the study of animals, agriculture and the environment.

Creative Quarter Campus
Our Creative Quarter Campus is home to the Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies, delivering our foundation degrees and diplomas in the creative arts. Confetti, and NTU is one of the most exciting partnerships in UK higher education, giving you access to cutting-edge technology, studios, and equipment.
