Managers have an additional layer of responsibility with regard to equality, diversity and dignity. Part of the manager's role is to consider these issues in the design of services, learning, environments, policies and procedures as well as in managing teams and individuals. Equality Challenge Unit (Advance HE)
ECU (now part of the merger Advance HE) provides a central source of expertise, research, advice and leadership for universities and colleges regarding equality, diversity and inclusion
All new managers are invited to attend the Managing Equality and Dignity in Practice training course. This is a blended learning course, consisting of an online element and a face to face session.
