SHAPE research is completed in a vibrant research environment including staff, postdoctoral students, PhD students and MRes students. Research ranges from elite team sport performance to bone health and respiratory physiology. Collaborations occur both within the University's Biomedical, Life and Health Sciences Research Centre, nationally and internationally.

PhD students
The SHAPE research group has a vibrant postgraduate community. Students are encouraged to present their work at conferences both nationally and internationally. Opportunities to carry out postgraduate research towards an MPhil or PhD exist in all the areas of the SHAPE research group.
