Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES)
Takes place: end of term two - start of term three
The 2017 survey is now closed.
Thank you to everyone who completed the PRES in 2017 - we had a fantastic response rate of 62%. The feedback will now be used to inform the continuing strategy to further enhance the experience of our postgraduate researchers.
Who can take part?
All students on a postgraduate research degree at the time of the survey, including Professional Doctorate, MPhil and PhD.
Why should I complete the survey?
Your feedback is valuable and will help us to make improvements to your degree and to prioritise areas of development for the University.
Previous improvements have included the introduction of Doctoral Research Rooms, our annual Postgraduate Research Festival, and a suite of rolling professional development activities as part of our NTU DoctoratePlus Programme.
How can I complete the survey?
The survey is run bi-annually and will open again during term two in 2019. If you are eligible, you will be sent an email inviting you to complete the survey.
Who is running the survey?
The PRES is a national survey co-ordinated by the Higher Education Academy (HEA) and carried out by the University.
