NOW and Additional Support

Learn to effectively use the NTU Online Workspace (NOW) – a key resource used by all NTU students to organise your academic life.

Getting started on NOW

The NTU Online Workspace (NOW) offers resources and information to support your studies, and enables you to organise all aspects of your academic life at NTU. You can access a range of eLearning tools that foster collaboration with lecturers and fellow classmates. NOW is accessible on or off campus, 24 hours a day.

Watch our video introduction to NOW.

NOW Resources

Please note a staff/student log-in is required to access material on NOW.

There are two powerful ePortfolio packages available for use at NTU. EPortfolio on NOW, and PebblePad. You lecturers will tell you which package to use in your studies.

Assessment practice at NTU uses grades. A key benefit of grade-based assessment (GBA) is that grades and associated descriptors help you to track your development on each module as well as monitor overall progress on the journey to your award.
