Paying your tuition fees

The amount you pay, and how and when you pay it, will vary according to:

  • the country you're from
  • your course
  • the start date of your course.

We can't enrol you in the University until you've confirmed how you're going to pay your tuition fees.

Applying for a tuition fee loan? The Student Loans Company will send confirmation once they've approved your application.

Full-time home undergraduate students

Starting in 2024/25

Bachelors degrees and Foundation degrees

The tuition fee is £9,250.

Studying and working abroad

The tuition fee is £1,385 if you're spending a year studying abroad, or £1,850 if you're working abroad. This £1,850 fee also applies if you're going on a year-long placement as part of a sandwich course.

Starting in 2023/24

The tuition fee is £9,250.

The tuition fee is £1,385 if you're spending a year studying or working abroad. This also applies if you're going on a year-long placement as part of a sandwich course.

  • the number of modules you study in an academic year
  • the number of years you study your course over.
