How do I apply?
Who can apply?
Exchanges are open to most full time undergraduate students during the second year of a three-year course, or the third year of a four-year course. Visiting and incoming exchange students are not eligible to apply.
You have the option to go for one semester or for a full year, depending on your course of study. Some courses may also offer the opportunity to combine work and study abroad.
Erasmus+ exchange is also available to some postgraduate students, depending on course of study.

Applications for 2020/21
Applications for study abroad during the academic year 2020/21 are now closed. Student who have already applied and been accepted to study abroad in the 2020/21 academic year, but may be concerned or have questions about travelling as a result of the coronavirus pandemic please visit the advice for current students information pages.
Applications for 2021/22
Applications for study abroad during the academic year 2021/22 will open in November 2020. Please check back then for detailed information on how to apply.

Work abroad
If you are thinking about finding a work placement abroad, please get in touch with the Employability team in your school. Students going on work placement in Europe as part of their degree or recent graduate students could be eligible for the Erasmus+ grant. The Erasmus+ programme supports students with funding to cover some of your costs while abroad.
