While I'm away

Keeping in touch

During your time abroad the general student services will still be available to you, and based on your queries, you’re encouraged to speak to your course leader, School study abroad administrative teams, or your study abroad coordinator at NTU Global.

We will send you the full list of useful NTU contacts before you depart.

We will also send you periodic emails to see how you are doing on your NTU email, so please check these regularly.

We believe studying abroad will be a fantastic time, and would encourage all students to go for the experiences they can gain. If you feel the same, we would ask you to post photos, videos, blog links and more on your social media channels with #NTUGlobal hashtag, so we can share these experiences with other students.

Support available and who to contact if I have problems

We know that living abroad in a different country with a different native language can be stressful, which is why we recommend you do as much research as possible about the opportunities available, and think about what is suitable for you. If you have any problems or concerns during your time away you can contact us on the NTU Global email and we will reply to you as soon as possible.

Make sure you take part in the host institution’s induction session and familiarise yourself with the support they provide

We will send you a list of useful links and further information with your pre-departure information.
