Start earning now - Smartpoints loyalty scheme
The wait is finally over! You can now earn points on your Smart Card to redeem at NTU catering outlets across the University.
To get you started, and if you haven't already, you'll need to activate your card for cashless payment. You can do this at
- the Student Services Centre, in Newton building
- Clifton Student Services Centre; or
- Brackenhurst Library.
For every pound spent, staff will receive two points. Each point is worth 1p, so 350 points equals £3.50.
Points can be redeemed simply by scanning your Smart Card at the till point. You'll be able to earn points whether paying by Smart Card, cash or debit / credit card.
There will be opportunities to increase points with a range of offers and promotions throughout the year! Keep checking this page to find out the latest offers.

NTU Food have two great sandwich meal deals available to suit every taste and budget.
We have also increased the range of snacks included in the deal. Choose from a selection of snack bags, a range of crisps, selected chocolate bars and fruit. Available in selected Cafes across the University.
