NTU Sport

Sport and active lifestyles are a major part of life at NTU. We aim to provide students with the best possible sporting opportunities and facilities, helping you make the most of your time at university.

Whether you're part of a team, enjoy keeping fit or just want to try something new, we pride ourselves in offering something for everyone!

There are over 50 different sports clubs available for you to participate in, no matter what level you're at. Want to try something new? Our Play for Fun initiative is your portal to discovering new sports opportunities and making new friends.

If you enjoy going to the gym, there are fitness centres based at City and Clifton. We also have agreed discounted rates at the local leisure centre for our Brackenhurst students. Our centres are more than just gyms - they host a range of classes and fitness services so you can get the most out of your membership. We have a team of specialist staff and coaches that can support you, to make sure that your experience is both rewarding and enjoyable.

If spectating is more your thing, each year NTU competes in Nottingham’s biggest sporting event of the year - the Charity Varsity Series. Taking place in term three, an action-packed few weeks unfolds as our NTU sports clubs take on our local rivals, the University of Nottingham.

You'll find all the latest news, fixture results, class timetables and information on sport at NTU by visiting the NTU Sport website or by following us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
